University of Economics in BratislavaThe University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA) is nowadays considered one of the most important educational and scientific-research institutions in the Slovak Republic. The UEBA is a public Higher Education Institution focusing on Economics, Business, and Management.
It provides higher education in Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programmes for full-time and part-time students. On the basis of the comprehensive accreditation of Higher Education Institutions in the Slovak Republic, which took place in the years 2008-2009 in compliance with the Act on Higher Education, the UEBA was included in the highest category of HEIs in the Slovak Republic, among “Higher Education Institutions of University Type”. The University is located in Bratislava, the capital and largest city of the Slovak Republic. Comenius University
Comenius University in Bratislava is the oldest university in the Slovak Republic. It was founded on June 27th, 1919 and follows the university tradition of the Academia Istropolitana which was established in Bratislava by Matthias Corvinus, the Hungarian King, in 1465.

Slovak University of Technology in BratislavaThe history of the higher technical education in Slovakia has started in the year 1762 by the foundation of the Academy of Mining and Forestry in Banská Štiavnica. The establishment of the Academy of Mining and Forestry was important moment in the history of higher technical education, as it was the first educational institution in Slovakia providing technical education at the university level. The Academy of Mining and Forestry has maintained its high level of standard for more than 150 years of its existence and has founded the tradition of excellence of higher technical education in Bratislava.

Slovak Medical University in BratislavaThe Slovak Medical University (SMU) is an educational institution proudly keeping the tradition of education of healthcare workers in specialized studies and continuous life-long education in Slovakia.
The Slovak Institute for Postgraduate Education of Physicians, established on May 1st, 1953 in Trenčín, laid the foundations of education of healthcare professionals in Slovakia. From July 7th, 1966, the Institute moved into new premises in Bratislava, under a new name – The Institute of Further Education of Physicians and Pharmacists, which remained until 1991. On November 1st, 1998 transformed it into the Slovak Postgraduate Academy of Medicine in Bratislava. On September 1st, 2002, the Slovak Medical University was founded in Bratislava as a state university of higher education. The Slovak Medical University is a non-political institution, acting within the Magna Charta Universitatum global university charter, recognizing the values of democracy, humanism, and tolerance. |

PanEuropean University in BratislavaThe Pan-European University is a private institute of higher education located in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was established on July 14, 2004.
PEU currently has five faculties – Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Mass Media, Faculty of Informatics and Faculty of Psychology. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies in 14 programmes accredited by the Ministry of Education. The Faculty has concluded bilateral agreements with select universities under the Erasmus programme, the benefits of which have been used by our students since the academic year 2007/2008. The Faculty also creates conditions to attract potential students from abroad. Since 2006, in cooperation with Sales Manager Akademie in Vienna, the Faculty has widened its curriculum for students from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. |
